Dr. Vanessa Michel, OD
Vanessa Michel, OD was raised in Spokane, Washington. She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Eastern Washington University in 1999. She then moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she completed her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 2004.
Dr. Michel has extensive experience in family eye care, including pediatric eye examinations, contact lens fitting, eye surgery co-management and adult eye care. She also received training in Chicago in the areas of geriatric eye care and ocular disease management. This broad range of expertise sets her apart among other optometrists. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.
She spends her free time with her husband & two children and also enjoys running, horseback riding, and taking her dog to the park.
Dr. Rebekah Louie, OD
Rebekah Louie, OD is a Seattle native whom recently relocated from Southern California. She graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor’s of Science degree with honors. Dr. Louie then received her doctor of optometry degree with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry, where she also completed a post-doctorate residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy. Dr. Louie has considerable training in managing binocular vision disorders, strabismus and amblyopia, and pediatric primary care optometry, as well as contact lens examinations, low vision, ocular disease and co-management of cataract surgery.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, and College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with her family, and cheering on the Mariners and Seahawks in her spare time. She is friendly, compassionate, and ready to take care of your eye health needs.
Dr. Tracy Lin, OD
Tracy Lin, OD, is also a Seattle native, graduation with a double degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Washington in 2013. She completed her doctorate at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon in 2017.
Dr. Lin has diverse clinical training in the treatment and management of patients from all ages and backgrounds. Her clinical training has included time at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Walla Walla, Madigan Army Medical Center, and other specialty pediatric and vision therapy practices in the area. This gives Dr. Lin a unique combination of skills in primary eye care, geriatric eye care, contact lenses, co-management of eye surgery, dry eyes, infant and pediatric eye care, and management of binocular vision conditions. Her favorite aspect of optometry is talking one-on-one with patients and building bonds with patients of all ages.
Outside of optometry she enjoys working out, cooking, and trying out all the new restaurants that keep popping up in the area.
Maria is a recent graduate from the University of Washington with a degree in Molecular Biology. She is currently pursuing certification with the AOA as a Paraoptometric Assistant and hopes to become an optometrist in the future.
Maria primarily assists Dr. Michel & Dr. Louie with preliminary testing, contact lens fittings, and general patient care. She always goes the extra mile to make your appointment a pleasant experience!
In her spare time, Maria enjoys tennis, backpacking, and volunteering as a youth leader.
Stacy has more than 10 years of experience in patient care coordination and administrative responsibilities. She can help you schedule appointments and will offer her vast knowledge of complex vision insurance benefits and how they may apply to your visits. Her experience allows her to be involved in many aspects of the day to day operations of our clinic. She enjoys connecting with patients and providing them with exceptional customer service!
Stacy is a photographer as well, creating images for the Seattle rock music scene. She loves family time spent with her two grown children, her French Bulldog (Clarke) and her rescued dog (Sulley).
Mark has been with Redmond Ridge Eye Care since 2006. His *Juilliard School of Opticianry training and 35 years of licensed experience provide him with a unique perspective in the eyewear field. His professional, personalized consultation makes selecting the perfect eyewear fun! And his knowledge of ever-changing frame and lens technologies will guide you to the perfect pair.
Debra brings over ten years of optometric office experience to her diverse position. She is an accomplished Optician, Receptionist and Billing Manager who helps out wherever her services are needed in the office. She enjoys assisting our patients in any way she can.
Outside the workplace Debra enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets. She is an avid gardener and an aspiring author. She is a volunteer for Beck’s Place; a non-profit organization that assists low income families to keep and care for their pets by providing for the basic needs of both. She and her husband also foster for Old Dog Haven. Her current foster dog, Maggie, is a sweet 16 year old whose sparkly personality brightens every day.
